The first UN stamp was issued on 24 October 1951 in New York. Sixty-five years later, the UN Postal Administration – UNPA – has created, designed and printed thousands of stamps in three currencies – US dollars, Euros and Swiss francs. These stamps are sold at post offices in the main headquarters of the United Nations – New York, Geneva, and Vienna.
