All are invited to join this UN Foundation-led “Rock Your UN Blue”  social media initiative  which calls on everyone to wear UN Blue and send photos over social media using the #UNDay hashtag.  We also hope to photos of UN Day events taking place around the world.

A Twitter chat will be held from 11 am to 2 p.m. (NY time) on the following topics:

11 a.m. – 12 p.m. 
UN Women (@UN_Women) will take questions on the problems facing women and girls today around the world.

12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
Department of Peacekeeping Operations (@unpeacekeeping) and the United Nations Development Programme (@UNDP) will take questions on promoting peace, security and sustainable development abroad.

1 p.m. – 2 p.m. 
Shot@life (@shotatlife), Nothing But Nets (@nothingbutnets), mHealth Alliance (@mhealthalliance) and the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (@cookstoves) take your questions on today’s global health challenges.

At 7 p.m., UN Messenger of Peace Stevie Wonder will headline the annual UN Day concert in the UN General Assembly Hall.
