What’s happening at the UN General Assembly on Friday? Highlights here

We’re using our social media platforms extensively this week to let you know where you can watch what’s happening online and to report on what’s taking place. Expect updates on the following events — and more — on Friday.

On Friday, the General Debate continues as heads of state and government address their peers. The debate will be webcast live starting at 9 a.m. NYC time.  See who’s expected to speak in the lists of speakers in the UN Daily Journal.

Starting at 9 a.m., a high-level meeting on countering nuclear terrorism, with a focus on strengthening the legal framework, will take place.

At 10 a.m., a meeting of the Group of Friends of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations.     Find out about the recent #RepresentYourself campaign.

Other meeting are being organized by the Group of 77Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
